Collected bed sheets were sent to the artist by people from different places. Folded as he received them, he stacked them between the door and its frame in order to hold the door open and let the light in. The artist works within a different basement space, using it as a vessel to poetically reconstruct the basement held in his own memory. The work and its details are discussed in his book “Atmospheric Formation: The Role of Sound, Light, Space, You and Me.”
