Denim-Pilgrim, 2025

transferred toner, acrylic gel on canvas

A canvas holds edited scans of a pair of jeans worn from an eleven-hour walk across Berlin, from sunrise in the east to sunset in the west. Dragged along the ground, the denim collected dust, friction, and damage — becoming the only record of a walk otherwise left undocumented. The transfer process, brushing paper away to reveal the print beneath, echoes the slow act of moving through the city: a surface worn open by passage.
