Installed in an abandoned sawmill, six office lights rest on bang snaps — small explosive pieces that produce a sharp sound when pressure is applied. The lights are positioned just above the wooden floor, so close that even a slight shift would complete the contact and activate the sound. The work holds a moment just before this happens, where the fall is implied but not completed. It creates a suspended situation between contact and sound, and connects the fragility of the space with the fragility of the setup itself.
